We carry out all aspects of carpentry, joinery and cabinetry related works ‘in-house’, but have a vast network of local trusted trades to complete almost all levels of interior refurbishments.

Andy, the Managing Director is NVQ3 Advanced Craft Qualified in Carpentry and Joinery, with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Construction Project Management and 15 years of experience within the construction Industry. We are CSCS accredited, City & Guilds Qualified, Orac accredited installers of cornice and panel moulds and fully insured.

Services

Built-in Fitted Furniture

This is an area we pride ourselves in. We focus on more traditional methods of cabinet making, but with a true timeless look and feel. Generally speaking we construct using tulip wood front frames, hand made lacquered oak or lacquered birch ply carcasses, with dovetailed draw boxes, soft close runners and hinges etc. Usually delivered in a hand brushed finish onsite, but pre-finished within the workshop to within a final coat. Ultimately, a purely bespoke experience and finish to suit your exacting requirements.

Cornice Install

Installing Cornice is a great way to lift a room in terms of its detailing and decorativeness. We have hundreds of profiles to choose from to suit most styles from traditional to contemporary, and in varying depths and projections to suit most room sizes.

Wall Panelling

Wall Panelling, particularly combined with Cornice is a real cost effective way to completely transform the look and feel of a room. We have standard profiles we use and would recommend for maximum impact and to keep things cost effective but have many examples that we can show you if interested.

Staircase Installs & Refurbishments

We replace and fit new staircase’s to suit most budgets in varying styles. In addition, its often surprising to see what can be achieved by keeping the existing structure and renovating and existing case with new handrails, balustrades and newel posts. From contemporary stainless steel hand railing and glass balustrading to more traditional ‘Cut String’ staircases, we can offer whatever suits.

Interior Refurbishments

Having 15 years in industry within the local area, working on high end design projects and with Project Management experience, Summit can carry out full interior refurbishments too suit your requirements. We would carry out all carpentry, joinery and cabinetry items in house, and have a trusted network of trades we can call on to deliver most interior renovations and re-developments to suit your requirements.

Please note, we are not restricted to the services particularly featured. If it involves carpentry & woodwork and/or built in furniture, we can do it, from installing truss and cut roofs, putting on a set of joists, stud walling, flooring, fitting replacement timber windows and front doors, to re-creating bespoke furniture you have seen on Pinterest we can do it. We love the variety of what we do. It’s what keeps our lives interesting.
